The American Chamber of Commerce for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean (AmCham BEC), founded in 2012, is a non-profit organization aimed at facilitating business relations between Member Jurisdictions and the United States of America. Member Jurisdictions include Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. AmCham BEC has the unique distinction of being the only multi-national American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in the world.

AmCham BEC exists to facilitate business within the region and works with regional Governments, local chambers of commerce, diplomatic missions including the U.S. Embassy for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, and other stakeholders to identify and effect solutions for improvement to the Caribbean’s business environment.

AmCham BEC offers various membership benefits including automatic enrolment in the AmCham Rewards programme, AmCham BEC’s expedited U.S. visa programme, support in locating economic, legal and financial consultants and advisors, business facilitation and networking opportunities, seminars and more.
